A letter to Farcaster Frames
Unless you were in the woods without access to internet this past weekend, you've probably seen the next big thing in crypto: frames.
Since the Farcaster team launched the feature Friday afternoon, that's all anyone can talk about. I tweeted this out at midnight on Friday and I think it pretty much sums up my weekend.
It was incredible to see how the community rallied around a new primitive in such a short period of time. I mean, just look at this video of a Frames hackathon on Sunday that the Variant team hosted in NYC: ~50 builders excited to crank out creative ideas on how to best utilize frame functionality. See if you can spot me 👀
Now, I could go on and on about all the different frames that were shipped over the last few days and how exciting of a time it was but it's probably best to go check out Farcaster yourself and feel the ~vibes~.
Instead, in this letter, I'm going to provide some historical context that helped me create a framework on...frames.
I wanted to be creative with today's post.
I'm going to be publishing this onchain letter as a frame on Farcaster!
So, instead of the regular essay format, it reads more like a story book.
You can either read the screenshots below or check out the frame directly.
Let's dive in 🚀
We'll be back to the regular text based Onchain Letters this Friday.
Let me know what you thought of this Framebook!
